COVINGTON, GA | 2023 GMC CanyonJune 4, 2026Had an appointment for Friday morning , my check engine light was on. I get to the shop and they informed me I couldn’t wait I had to drop the truck off for a diagnostic test and the truck would not be ready until Monday at the earliest . I’ve never heard that with an appointment. Also never heard of a diagnostic test taking 3 days. I called Monday morning to get a status on my truck and was told they hadn’t had a chance to get to it yet. And rushed me off the phone. Tuesday I called and asked to speak to the service person and he never answered. I called back 2 hours later- same thing. So I went up to the shop to speak to him personally or a manager at this point. I waited around for 15 minutes before he showed up. He tells me they repaired some outstanding recalls and that the radiator hose needed replacing and the truck would be ready today or tomorrow. I left and received a call that the truck would be ready 2 hours after I left. I guess since my vehicle is under warranty, there was no rush to repair it. The communication was terrible on their end and the repair for something that simple should not have taken 4 days.Response from John Miles Chevrolet Buick GMC
